1. Overview

PS to PDF Command Line is a windows application which can offer the best performance available to provide speedy conversions from PostScript and Encapsulated PostScript to Portable Document Format (PDF). It supports to convert multiple PS/EPS files into one PDF file. Set encryption options to output PDF files. It doesn't depend on Windows Printer Driver technology or any other products.

3. Installation&Uninstallation

Installation: You can download the programe setup file which is a zip file from our site at first, then you only need to decompress setup file. After above working, you can use the program.

Uninstallation: All you need to do for uninstallation is to delete the direcotry which place the program files.

Supported Operating Systems

The following operating systems listed have been tested with PS to PDF Command Line and are officially supported.

(3) Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Home Edition;

(5) Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Advanced Server;

(6) Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional;

Recommended Hardware

(1) CPU: Intel (or Standard PC) 800MHz or faster compatible x86 processor;

(2) RAM: 256MB or more RAM recommended, 128MB minimum;

(3) Hard-disk: 100MB free space recommended, 50MB free space required;

5. Command Parameters

Usage:

pstopdf.exe	<-i <string> [...]> [-o <string>] [-s <string>] [-t <string>] [-a <string>] [-k <string>] [-c <string>] [-w <string>] [-u <string>] [-e <int>] [-p <int>] [-r <string>] [-h]
	Notes: <>--- required []--- optional

(1). Input and Output Settings

-i <string>	Input source ps/eps files or directory which contains ps/eps files you want to convert. This parameter can use several times, such as: e.g. 1) pstopdf -i "c:\my1.ps" -i "c:\my2.eps" -i "c:\my ps" -o "d:\mypdf" Extract ps/eps files which are 'c:\my1.ps","c:\my2.eps" and all ps/eps files placed in "c:\my ps" to "d:\mypdf".
-o <string>	Set destination directory to output pdf files, default is in the same directory as source files .

(2). PDF info Settings

-s <string>	It is to set pdf info "subject".
-t <string>	It is to set pdf info "title".
-a <string>	It is to set pdf info "author".
-k <string>	It is to set pdf info "keywords".
-c <string>	It is to set pdf info "creator".

(3). PDF Security Settings

-w <string>	It is to set owner password.
-u <string>	It is to set user password.
-e <int>	It is to set encryption, has two level 40 and 128 bit
-p <int>	It is to set permission. 1.permit print. 2.permit copy. 3.permit print and copy. 4.permit modify. 5.permit print and modify. 6.permit copy and modify. 7.permit print copy and modify.

(4). Other Settings

-r <string>	It is to register program.
-h	It is to open the help file.
