| PS to IMAGE Command Line is a windows application which can offer the best performance available to provide speedy conversions from PostScript to Image, such as bmp, tiff, jpeg, gif, png, pcx, emf, wmf, and so on. Ps to Image creates the images that are perfect representations of the original print files. All PS fonts, forms and other resources are reproduced exactly as they are on PostScript printers. It is easy to use and it is not based on print method. Otherwise, it does not need any third part software support. During the conversion, PS to Image optimizes images for archiving, retrieval and display, it can eliminate the need for costly changes to the native print applications. |

| 3. Installation&Uninstallation |
| Installation: You can download the programe setup file which is a zip file from our site at first, then you only need to decompress setup file. After above working, you can use the program. |
| Uninstallation: All you need to do for uninstallation is to delete the direcotry which place the program files. |

| (1). Input and Output settings |
| -i <string> | Input source ps/eps files or directory which contains ps/eps files you want to convert. This parameter can appear several times, such as: e.g. 1) pstoimage -i "c:\my1.ps" -i "c:\my2.eps" -i "c:\my ps" -o "d:\my image" Extract ps/eps files which are "c:\my1.ps","c:\my2.eps" and all ps/eps files placed in "c:\my ps" to "d:\my image". |
| -o <string> | Set destination directory to output image files, default is in the same directory as source files . |
| (2). Image/Page settings |
| -x <int> | It is to set the horizontal dpi. | ||||||||||||||||||
| -y <int> | It is to set the vertical dpi. | ||||||||||||||||||
| -q <int> | It is to set the quality of jpg, from 1 to 100. | ||||||||||||||||||
| -t <string> | It is to set the type of result image files. The program supports the following image type:
e.g. 1)pstoimage -i "c:\my1.ps". Extract "c:\my1.ps" to "c:\", it is to output jpg image files and jpg quality with 75. e.g. 2) pstoimage -i "c:\my ps" -o "d:\my ps" -t "bmp" -c 24 Extract all ps/eps files placed in "c:\myps" to "d:\my ps", it is to output 24bits image files. |

| -c <int> | It is to set the number of bits per pixel with 1, 4, 7(8 bits grayscale),8 and 24, default is 24. | ||||||||||||||||||
| -e <string> | It is to set the tiff compression mode. The program supports the following mode.
Extract all layouts of 'c:\my1.ps to 'd:\', it is to ouput 8 bits multipage tiff and the compression is packbits compression. |

| -a [string] | It is to set the multi-page tiff and convert all layouts of ps/eps file to multi-page tiff. If you set tiff file path, it converts all ps/eps files to one multi-page tiff file name. e.g. 1) pstoimage -i "c:\my1.ps" -i "c:\my ps" -o "d:\" -t "tif" -e lzw -a "d:\mytiff.tif" Extract the file "c:\my1.ps" and all ps/eps files which placed in "c"\my ps" to a multi-page tiff file("d:\mytiff.tif"). |
